Flowers Bloom Again, But Youth Never Returns#
The year 2025 is about to pass. This year, various aspects have been developing positively, but I have aged another year. In this year, I have been involved in the catering, milk tea and coffee, and Web3 industries, and I have also tried to venture into teaching, finance, and other administrative fields. I have been to Yan'an and Chongqing, witnessing the simplicity of villagers who have lived their whole lives in mountain villages, and I have seen the bustling atmosphere of street hotpot restaurants that only get busy around nine o'clock. Overall, 2025 has been quite good.
In 2025, I experienced the departure of many people and witnessed the arrival of many new lives. Sometimes I ponder the meaning of marriage and childbirth. Some say you should follow the ancestral laws and do what is appropriate at each stage; others say you should follow nature, as what is meant to be will eventually happen.
It's not just about marriage and childbirth; there is also the meaning of life. Literally understood, "birth" is a state, a reverence for life, living well; "living" is a continuous action, and everyone is striving to live, whether smoothly or just getting by, we should take this life seriously. When I am 80 years old lying alone in bed, I hope to be able to say, as Liu Chuxin said, "The pains of life, when looked back upon, are all legends."
This past year, I have just been too tired. I really enjoy Dou Wentao's "Qiang Qiang San Ren Xing," where he believes that living is about going with the flow, surviving by chance, and seeking fortune while avoiding disaster. I am not sure if I can truly understand its meaning at this stage: when work is not going well, one can find some joy in love; when love encounters setbacks, one can invest more energy into leisure activities. "Luck" is also a part of life, an important factor that supports people in living well.

In 2025, AI technology is developing rapidly, and I wonder what life-changing technologies will emerge next year. Future new energy batteries and the AI industry will also see new breakthroughs, and the entire AI field will likely experience a new wave of technological revolution, just as the Transformer did back in the day. It is these daring and hardworking young entrepreneurs who will drive social development, not politicians or military leaders.
As for myself, even in the field of technology that I love, I am still standing still, but I no longer feel anxious — after all, as Dou Wentao said, "surviving by chance" is enough.
Discussing Society#
We are in the midst of a once-in-a-century upheaval, and we are catching up without any precedents or successors. People love to look back at history but cannot find a similar period; when looking to the future, they feel lost. Shops on the streets have become sparse, with many stores hanging "Prime Shop for Rent" signs, and the film industry is also gradually declining. This is usually referred to as economic recession. Exports are constrained by sanctions, and there is insufficient liquidity in domestic sales; the predicament of internal and external troubles is actually affecting us ordinary people in many ways. Is it really the case that we can only follow the path of "to secure the home front, we must first fend off external threats"?
